Small point: in the last issue of "Action," the collector scanned earth for Kryptonians, and found three. Clark and Kara we already know about - could he have mistaken Kryptonian DNA for Daxamite?

You'd think it should have been Power Girl, but if that's the way they were going, they would have shown her silhouette the way they did Supergirl's. But, no, they presented it like it was a big revelation that there was a third one, and didn't show us who.
So what's that mean for Power Girl? Well, we know that Earth-2 Kryptonians aren't exactly the same as... well, let's call them Earth-1 Kryptonians. We saw in Infinite Crisis that this-Earth Kryptonite doesn't work on them. So presumably this guy's tricorder wouldn't detect her as a Kryptonian.
The third one could still (somehow) be Mon-El, if they've decided to make him a Kryptonian post-IC. Which might be a smart move: Daxam is a huge game-balance problem in a comic book universe. A whole world full of people who can have Superman's powers? Yikes. Same reason why Element Lad's powers received the time limit: Trom is almost as bad as Daxam.

I hope it's Lar and it makes a lot of sense that DC would want to eliminate Daxam. Great comments everyone.

But, . . . the time is shorter than we think.

Daxamites already have a massive weakness, though, in that they're allergic to one of the most commoly elements in the universe. As long as they don't make it too easy to get around the lead weakness, Daxamites don't really shift the power balance at all.

It looks like Supergirl, Saturn Girl, Blonde Girl (Light Lass? Dream Girl is too much to hope for, I suppose) and Star Boy to me.
If you look closely at the guy on the right you can see Star Boy's vee neckline and the big star on his left manboobie, reversed out in negative due to the light effects. IMHO of course.

I just wonder how or if they will slip Lar Gand/LEGION/Invasion! continuity into the "New Earth"
I suspect they will just leave it alone and start afresh.

But new guesses regarding who is standing behind him. The likely answer is members of the LSV but maybe Sun Boy and an expanded Terra Firma could be involved.

Well, one of them is definitely Supergirl. You can see her emblem.

I suspect they will just leave it alone and start afresh. If only someone would give us a quick history of this "New Earth!" At the moment the hints are driving me batty! The "S" emblem doesn't show up very well on the small version of the cover (that's my excuse ). If those are Legionnaires in the background, the chick with the bouffant hair could be Chameleon. Or it could be a mix of Legionnaires and others.
