Both have been good friends of Wildfire - Dawnstar is obvious, and he befriended Comet Queen during her Academy days.

Um, actually Comet Queen (along with Laurel Kent) was shown to not like Wildfire (LSH #304). If that changed, it was never shown.

Oops! I thought Comet Queen defended Wildfire from other Academy students... Guess I must've gotten her mixed up with someone else. Oh well...

Dawnstar and Comet Queen both attended the Legion Academy, then.

White Witch resigned from the Legion when Polar Boy gave permission to use the brain-dead (but still-living) human body of the Infinite Man to use as fuel to power the time cube to battle the Time Trapper

In the early reboot (when the reboot was still good ), Cos had to ask Mon to lie low because of the chaos that would ensue if everyone found out that he was Valor.

Jan & Vi were among the 'espionage' Legionnaires uncovering the Sklarian pirate ring that was smuggling organs in v3.

Next: Dawnstar and Saturn Girl

Dawnstar's tracking powers convenienently found Saturn Girl & a team of Legionnaires on a far-off asteroid right as Imra and Timber Wolf were in a compromising position. Oh, and Dawnstar happened to have Timberwolf's girlfriend/Saturn Girl's Sister-in-Law with her. Ahem.

Next: Matter-Eater Lad and Ultra Boy

Both have had relationships with somewhat villainous women - Tenzil with Saturn Queen and Jo with An Ryd (and Captain Frake fell in love with him too, remember?)

Next: Triad and Violet

Violet went on a platonic date with Chuck Taine, pissing Triad off because at least 1/3 of Triad wanted to date Chuck but hadn't built up the nerve to ask.

Archie Legion. Sigh.

Next: Brainiac 5 and Wildfire

Both were briefly taken out of action during the GDS; Darkseid blasted Brainy and destroyed his forcefield belt, knocking him out, and Wildfire's containment suit got blasted during the battle on the Sorcerers' World.

Next: Sun Boy and Invisible Kid I

Sun Boy was one of the Legionnaires struck down by Validus rampaging through Legion headquarters, leaving Invisible Kid I alone to face the angry monster. Yeah, this was the adventure where Invisible Kid was killed by Validus.

Both were possessed by the Wraith-mates alongside mon-el and Karate Kid.

Next: Karate Kid and Cosmic Boy

Cosmic Boy and Karate Kid helped RJ Brande recover his fortune building stars, coming into battle with the Engineer and his murderous robot space pirates and Dr. Mayavale.

Next: Timber Wolf and Blok

They were pretty good buddies during Levitz's run on the Legion. Both also had run-ins with the law - we all know Blok's history as a criminal, and Timber Wolf was mistaken for one in his first appearance as Lone Wolf.

Next: Polar Boy and Phantom Girl

Phantom Girl reigned Polar Boy back into control when he jumped up at the meeting table to announce his running for Legion leader, something that goes against team tradition to be excited about.

Ultra Boy and Light Lass were attacked and apparently slain by the League of Super-Assassins. Titania & Neutrax beat down Ultra Boy, and Blok got Light Lass.

Shady and Brin were two of the Adventure-Era members who didn't have SW6 counterparts.

Next: Kinetix and Invisible Kid I

Kinetix telekinetically "unveiled" Lyle while he was delivering a gift for Spark, outing him as Ayla's admirer. Unfortunately, the gift was actually from Cham, Lyle having dropped it off as a favor.

They were both patients of Brainiac 5's medical genius.

Dawnstar and Violet

Both were maimed during the TMK 5 Year Gap stories.

Mysa & Quislet

mysa and quislet accompanied Tellus on the return to Hykarius following a false-lead on the Universo-driven disappearances of heroes & science police around the galaxy

Next: Duo Damsel & Shadow Lass

Both Heroines escaped with Superboy and Mon-el back to 20th century Smallville to elude Mordru. Here we learn of Duo Damsel's crush on Superboy and I believe that the Shady-Mon romance started here too.
