So Dream Girl is 100% dead? Or just comic book dead?

Answers people, answers! I want an entire plot synopsis on this mb stat! None of this cryptic nonsense. We get enough of that from the pros.

Help a brother out!

Click Here For A SpoilerSo there's these geeky robot cult guys who apparently follow some kind of energy being they call their "electrolord". They're apparently trying to bring him back from some other dimension that he's been exiled to, when the S.P.'s and Legionnaires burst in on them. After typical squabbling between the S.P.'s and the Legionnaires, they suddenly realize that they are "outgunned" by the electrolord. Well, that is, until Supergirl easily defeats him.

Supergirl still thinks she's dreaming the Legion. In fact, she apparently thinks everything since she left Krypton, including her adventures in the 21st century, are a dream, part of some kind of Kryptonian rite of passage. Cos gives a brief recounting of the "myths" about her origins and history in the 21st century. He mentions that, according to at least some versions of the legend, she just vanished one day.

Anyway, there's this legionnaire called Seiss who emits subsonic waves when he gets indigestion, and that causes problems at the construction site for the new Legion HQ, until Supergirl saves the day again. Oh, and after the crisis is over, a mysterious figure offers Seiss membership in a group that might appreciate his potential, unlike the Legion.

Light Lass is upset that everyone is so gah-gah over Supergirl, and especially the whole fact that she can't come to grips with the fact that what is hapenning is real, which leads to some humerous scenes where Ayla points out that if this really were all a dream, Supergirl could have whatever she wants by wishing it. So Supergirl wishes for a few things (Legion membership, a flight ring) and actually receives them.

Meanwhile, a Legionnaires has gone undercover in the S.P. to investigate the infiltrations, and the Dominators are gloating over the fact that their plan to deliver a "techorganic" payload by means of the "inert relic" succeeded.

There's a little more, but that's the gist of it.

Oh, and a bit of a theory:

Question...

What did you think about the Dominator saying "Remember fifffdee-tu."? There'll be a tie in to the current "One Year Later" gap series?

That's not clear. Brainy sends it, via Atom Girl. The Legionnaires themselves speculate on where it came from.

However, another important point:

And thanks! smile

I think the shadowy man recruiting young legionnaires has something to do with the people that are infiltrating the science police. This may or may not have anything to do with the Dominators.

Yay Dominators (my favorite DCU aliens). I also caught the reference to fivvvvddeeeeetuuuu (52) in the Dominator's monologue.

Man Ayla is catty, I thought her dialog when Lyle was making gahgah eyes at Supergirl was great.

I'm guessing it's a good bet that the Dominators will play a major role in "52" now.

And I think I enjoyed that single page more than any other in the book. The Dominators have rarely looked more scary.

Couple a thoughts...

For some reason, the mysterious group made me think of the Subs.

Since we saw Dream Boy flying on the cover of #20, I don't think that's Nura's ring that Kara has.

Ditzy Kara annoys the heck out of me.

At this point, the issue is out, and there's not a lot of point to adding more in-thread spoiler warnings, IMHO... anyone who wants to keep the surprise shouldn't be anywhere near this thread.

I doubt the inviters are Terra Firma (too soon), or the Subs or Workforce, as Waid has avoided recreating old groups.

But since Threeboot has been about youth-rebellion-becoming-authority, I predict a rebel youth sect that rejects LSH's new authority, and sees them as sell-outs.

I think there's something to the Kara-Dominator theory; in the ballpark if not the perhaps too-obvious.

The Legionnaire infiltrating the SPs is either Chameleon or Princess Projectra. Chameleon is the obvious choice, so I'm going with the idea that it'll end up being Jeckie.

Brin Londo is finally officially called Timber Wolf and his homeworld is finally identified as Zuun! Yay!

Very beautiful and well written issue! I can't wait for next issue!
