In Adv. #304, Luornu triplicated a blaster she was holding when she split into three bodies. I don't recall that ever happening again (please refresh my memory if I'm wrong) but more recent incarnations must have had the same ability to a limited degree. Her flight ring was always triplicated when she split, not to mention her costume. What if new Lu is able to multiply not only things she wore, but also held or touched?

Only in a limited way - the bulky jetpacks from the Planet Hell story (that generally drove the team nuts) didn't triplicate. So there's obviously a fairly low mass limit to it. On her clothes - I always imagined she dressed seperately (kinda borne-out by the LW1 backup) and then merged to be dressed in whatever Neutral was wearing.

That was always my impression on how she had multiple flight rings and transsuits. She would be split and put on what was needed then merge. Didn't she share a transsuit with Ferro in one story because she had three?

Garth could control his own electricity but not that generated elsewhere. What he could do was absorb electricity from other sources. Not quite the same as controlling it.

Probably too soon to start speculating on the next ish, but I'm tickled that they saved #3 for Triplicate Girl. One CBS ("The Beguiling" in Toronto) has stated that Legion is ranked third in pre-orders, in terms of quantity (not dollar value) and tied with some other books. This is a store that carries a lot of "other-than-superhero" material, so I thought this was an excellent showing for LSH. from the February 1st blog entry QUANTITY: The top 30-or-so books by initial order numbers.
1 DC COUNTDOWN 1 GREEN LANTERN REBIRTH #6 1 VIMANARAMA #2
Stunt book, stunt book, Vinanarama. We3 was probably our second best selling floppy of last year (behind EIGHTBALL #23) and though Quitely has a built-in fanbase, we do really well with work by Phil Bond (rare as it is...). We're expecting big things from it, and not-so-much from DC COUNTDOWN (even at a buck).
2 ULTIMATE IRON MAN #1 2 ULTIMATES 2 #4 2 ASTONISHING X-MEN #10
At no point accept the argument that the 'top tier' books are NOT sucking the sales out of the midlist. And that foil-enhanced 50/50 split variant covers aren't a ploy to push things to the top of the list.
3 SUPERMAN 3 LEGION OF SUPER HEROES 3 SEVEN SOLDIERS GUARDIAN 3 EX MACHINA 3 SECRET WAR 3 FILLER BUNNY 3 LOVE & ROCKETS VOL 2
In the long run, we'll end up selling far, far more Filler Bunny than anything tied for third. But there's no real incentive to order beyond the first few weeks of sales when it will be easy to reorder that book (through Coldcut Distribution in particular). That's why I think, for the most part, the diamond top 300 list is a bad idea. It re-enforces the idea that 'indies don't sell' when it's more to the point that our top-20 best selling comics of all time are 'indies' (or Vertigo), and for the most part we're still selling them.
It's also important to note that, up to this point, the only book with more than 12 issues in it's current incarnation is "Superman", and even that's just the 12th part of the Jim Lee run.

Possibly everyones over thinking this a tad.
Maybe its as simple as Due to the Extreme Over population of the planet Cargg siblings have been given the unique ability to become one to make the most of the space they have.
In doing so becoming one gives them some interesting abilities dare I say the name Triathalon/3D man here?
Serperate they have their own personalities.
Their true power is the ability to Combine Not seperate.
Kind of along the same lines as the new Micro lad..his power is to shrink to 6ft not to Grow.
As far as powers go Triathalon was fairly lame in the Avengers BUT if done right having three times the normal human attributes could be fun if ..again its done right.
I cant help but think if Bouncing boy shows up him asking her if maybe tonight they would be in the mood to triplicate.
=)
