Was Brin established as Rimborian and not from Zuun in the reboot? There was that scene set on Apokolips in Paul Levitz's short tale "Mosaic" which otherwise does not make sense in the story if a future Legionnaire was not present (and Brin was the most obvious choice).

I always assumed that they were flirting with the idea of giving her the full range of Kryptonian powers (but only in darkness), but the idea got dropped after that story.
