Maybe his family moved there later.
Who was the first Legionnaire to not have a code-name indicating youth (i.e., Boy, Girl, Lad, Lass, Kid)?

Brainiac 5 is correct. Not the most difficult question in the world, but I figured maybe someone would instinctively think of Timber Wolf or Shrinking Violet (or Mon-El!) before Braint.
Your turn, AFOB.

What were the powers that Pre-boot Wildfire (as ERG-1) demonstrated that got him rejected for membership?

Let's see, going from memory...
He could expand and shrink in size, he could control chemical reactions, he could phase through solid matter. That's what I can remember. Could he fly too?

OK, two part question here...
1. I think someone else in this thread already posed a question about the "Mask Man" story where everyone in the Legion was killed by a descendant of Mxyzptlk. They mentioned that Sun Boy's death was never shown "on screen". However, Sun Boy isn't the only character to suffer from this sort of neglect in that story.
What other active Legionnaire was apparently killed in that story, but his or her death was never shown or explained?
2. Some of the Legionnaires who weren't central to the story were killed off when an asteroid materialized in front of their spaceship. The dialogue indicates that "Triplicate Girl, Element Lad, Phantom Girl...they and the others in it are dead!" Now assuming that there were only active Legionnaires on that ship, who can we deduce were they referring to by "the others in it"?

1. Bouncing Boy & Lightning Lass
2. Matter-Eater Lad & Star Boy
Star Boy is only seen on the splash page, and Tenzil isn't seen at all, but if there were "others" (plural) it would have to be them. Ayla and Chuck were seen alive later, but the story never mentioned how they died. I suppose we can take Mask Man's word for how Lyle died...(Why would a swell guy like him lie?)
Lightning Lad, at this point, was still on Special Rigor Mortis Detatched-Duty, I believe.

Well, KryptonKid, you are mostly right, with one small error. In the first part of my question, I was only looking for the name of one legionnaire, and that was Bouncing Boy. Ayla's death is explained, just before Invisible Kid. She was turned to stone, apparently.
But you had so much of it correct that I think you should go ahead and take it.

One person became all those? Sounds like the old dial "H" for hero's, but i don't recall it being anything to do with the Legion.
I'd say Jimmy Olsen?

Dial H for Hero? Didn't the Legion crossover with the Dial way back in Superboy #50? Not to mention Lori Morning?
Not remembering the story of Superboy #50, I'll guess Lori Morning.

Not Jimmy ("Mr. Action") or Lori (Glorith x "hello, Kitty"), but you are both on the right track.
Hint: Think "V", not "H".

"Notorious Nylor's nuptials to Nura Nal near Naltor naturally nurtured negative news." That was my favorite tongue twister growing up. Nylor dialed "V" for Villian in The New Adventures of Superboy #50 (Feb84). Consequently, Korbal can continue questioning.
