Ok, everyone, I thought I might try my hand at a new game. Why is it called "Invisible Kid's Crossword Puzzle?" I'm glad you asked!

Here's how it works:
This takes some imagination. We will do a crossword puzzle, except that we can't see it, hence the name.

1. First a direction is given-Across or Down. Then the number of letters in the answer; no spaces. Then, a clue is given, which can be about anything Legion related-Codenames (Saturn Girl, etc.), real names, parents of Legionnaires, artists, writers, planets, powers, villains-obscure or otherwise-you name it.

Example: Across. 9 letters. Phantom big brother.
(GymaWazzo)

2. The person who gets the answer then gives the next clue, using the direction, in this case since it was the first word, it would be down. Then, the number of letters and clue as before, and which letter it builds off of in the previous word.
Example: Down, 11 letters. Starts with the M in Gyma. Early Legion advisor.
(MarlaLatham).
and so on and so on.

3. Each new clue builds off the previous word ONLY. That way we won't have to keep track of "now I used the "m" in Gyma-did anyone use the "o"?

4. We also won't worry about one word running into another like on a real crossword; after all it's invisible and I wouldn't want anyone to keep up with all of them.

Ready? Here we go!

First Clue:

Across. 9 letters. Undercover Green Lantern; His dad just wanted to join the club. InvisibleKid

Virus

Next Clue:

Down 5 letters. Starts with the S in Virus. As intelligent as a clam.

(Question: does the next word have to start off of the previous word or can we just use a letter in common? For example, using "Virus" my clue would be Axe wielding Fatal Fiver, using the r)

You fool!!!! wink

Having the next word not necessarily startin with one of the letters in the last word would make it more like a crossword puzzle. However, knowing that the next word starts with one of the letters would make things easier.

I say make no hard and fast rule and see how it plays out.

Toog Lintens

Across 7 Letters, crosses with the L. This character's powers led to speculation of his origin which became continuity.

Validus.

Hey, guys? I was thinking- would you like to actually make this game a real crossword? If you're up for it, I could occasionally post visual updates such as this one:

IMAGE DELETED

It would remove the "Invisible" aspect of the game but might make it more fun if we had full use of the grid, instead of just the last clue.

For instance, my next one would be:

Across, 9 letters, using the "M" of Dev-Em and the "N" of Sinde, "Real name of an acrid applicant".

Let me know what the general opinion is, but especially AFO-boy, as it's your game.
