Yep! Don't ask me why-- I don't wanna go somewhere with that kinda weather in December. (We're from California... uh, yeah.) But whatever. It's his dime. You're up Rocky!

There's Oktoberfest... but that's in October... they'll be too late for it.

When I spent a week in Alsace a few years back, we went into Germany a couple of times. It was pleasant, but it was the only time in my life I've ever been somewhere where I only spoke a few words of the language (I can bumble through some basic French and Spanish, but I pretty much only know choir German and the words of "Stille Nacht" won't get you far in June ), so I wasn't at ease enought to really enjoy it. Anyway, back to the game: I've always loved music, but I don't really play an instrument. Choral singing is my main musical outlet. Which instrument have I never attempted to learn to play: 1. Cello 2. Flute 3. Guitar 4. Organ 5. Piano 6. Recorder 7. Violin

I've tried playing both of those. Neither stuck.
I can honestly say that I've played the organ at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris. The two times I went to Europe were on tours visiting historic pipe organs (my best friend is an organist). Participants in the tours were allowed to play some of the organs. I practiced till I could play a simple hymn tune and played that same tune it on every single one of them! That was several years ago know and I've rarely tried playing the organ since then.
Cello was the first instrument I attempted to learn (when I was six). I tried it for a year, but decided I didn't like it.

And we have a winner! I have never attempted to learn to play the flute. One of my sisters tried to teach me the guitar (which she couldn't really play herself ). I took piano lessons in college. Like many kids, I was taught recorder in elementary school. At the same time, I was taking violin lessons. I never really was able to find an instrument I loved so much that I had to play it all the time, though to be fair, I do own an electronic keyboard, which I mostly use to help to learn my choir parts. Caliente, take it away!

Haha, cool! I once told my friend that, "Boys don't play the flute!" when I was nine. Needless to say, his mom told me off good for that one. Anyway. The question...
What was the last comic book I read?
a) World War Hulk #3 b) Countdown #39 c) Uncanny X-Men #488 d) Action Comics #833 e) New Warriors v4 #3 f) Futurama Comics #32 g) Supergirl v5 #20 h) Fantastic Four/Power Pack #3 i) Uh, I don't know what you've been told, but I don't read comics. It's all been a lie.

Nope! Though I did read it. Don't ask me why, I generally dislike it so. I swear, if Geoff hadn't made me love the Rogues, I wouldn't bother.

Wow, those aren't it, either! I read New Warriors v4 #3 when it first came out. Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed. I really liked the start, though, so I think it'll pick up again. Ironically, Supergirl v5 #20 was the one I read just before the last one. I actually liked it for a change and I loved how Kara look. I hate what Churchill did with her at the start... Futurama! I read the one the second I got it. I effin' love those kids. >.> And just what are you implying about Bender and myself..? Do I look like a RodrÃguez to you? I will admit, I did read Fantastic Four/Power Pack last week, which was vaguely entertaining. I didn't see any Mini Marvels, though! Honestly! Don't they know that's why I get it? And, Quis, I'm sure your flute-playing abilities surpass mine. 'Course I played the clarinet but still... Lastly, (even though I'm sure no one cares ) I'm totally caught up in-- and loving-- World War Hulk. Seriously, so much violent, violent fun. And I don't even like the Hulk! But, yeah, I read that sucker almost the second I had it. I'm totally caught up. Keep guessing, guys!

Sorry, Actor honey, but I read Uncanny when it came out last month. Bru's X-Men have been leaving me a tad cold but I'm such a fan that I keep holding out hope. Stealth, you got it, girl! Countdown suckered me into the Jimmy Olson tale. I don't particularly care for Superman titles but... I'm curious. Your turn, Sealth!

Yay!
Okay, which of the following things about me is not true?
a) The coffee I drink is Nescafe Clasico
b) Over the past year, I've developed a strange obsession with the Food Network
c) I've never smoked a cigarette
d) I have a toy unicorn named Fairytale
e) I think Brian Eno's Another Green World is overrated and Here Come the Warm Jets is his true masterpiece
f) I hate Dan Jurgens, but I have his Aquaman issues because I'll buy anything that's drawn by Steve Epting
g) I have every Transformers episode on DVD, and yet if I find a used VHS tape of Transformers, I'll snap it up, because I have to have backups
h) I'm such a Donna Troy fangirl that I actually liked the much-reviled Return of Donna Troy mini-series
i) I have all the seasons of Alias on DVD except the last one, because I think it's an insult to anyone who ever got into that show
