Well, never order burgers in Sweden, they seem to prefer boiled beef...

I actually saw the Stone of Scone in person after they returned it from the Tower of London to Edinburgh castle. It was placed together with all the Scottish royal regalia, although they needed a new display case because it was so crowded in there.

Try again.

Hei KryptonKid, jeg kan sprakke norsk, ja?

Caliente - Legoland smile

Quis - I spent a couple of hours on a layover at Charles De Gaulle

And the Canuck has got it right - take it away Kent.

Lived in the Hague for a few weeks and went to Brussels for a week. Had german paprika fries en route to Denmark near Ornabruck during the same trip as well.

Actually, I'm not a Canuck - I'm just having the first of two extended stays this year.

...but on that theme... being here in Edmonton this month has bumped Alberta higher on the list of Canadian provinces, in terms of the amount time I've spent in each.

Which province remains the only province where I have spent more time than I have in Alberta (so far), and in how many weeks will Alberta reach/surpass it?

...it occurs to me not everyone may know all the provinces: Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia are the other 9 (besides Alberta).

To be fair, "Newfoundland and Labrador" is the proper name for the first-listed province, but I didn't want to confuse anyone into thinking they were two different ones.

I'd say Quebec for the province. And 3 weeks to reach/surpass it.

Confirmation? You get to pick a name for being a lawyer? wink

Since you're the sesquipedalian (spelling?) I'll go with

3) Quadragesimus

Confirmation is one of the sacraments in Catholicism. It is basically reaffirming the baptisimal vows as an adult.

And I took neither Joseph nor Quadragesimus as a name.

About 30 years ago. You do it around age 16. You pick a new name because Confirmation is you making your baptisimal vows (rather than your parents speaking for you) And like at Baptism, you are named.

Ah, so does that mean you're still religious and all? I just thought it funny that a lawyer of your... preferences would have chosen a quasi-"religious" question.

8) Maximus wasn't going to be my next guess... but I'll try it anyways.

I am not religious myself (although I am respectful) But I have asked so many questions on this thread (and the original) that I have to dig for a good question.

And Maximus would have been a great name. Too bad I didn't think of it at the time.

5) James

Which was mine (although I later became Episcopalian and Confirmation names are not used in the Anglican tradition--though Confirmation itself is--so I guess I don't have it any more).

1) Stephen

Because I don't think there was a Saint Ralph. But, as Legion Worlders know, I've been wrong before...
