I have had a letter to the editor printed, but not recently (there is a thread somewhere on these boards about it). I have never had anyone give me their phone number in a "cute guy" sort of way. And if you want to know what numbers won't come out in the lottery get me to buy a ticket. My lottery luck holds for scratch tickets too.
I did ruin my white shirt with a meatball stain. I was volunteering at a fund raiser. I and another volunteer were sent out to get two trays of food that was being donated. I was carrying the tray of meatballs. I thought I was holding the tray even, but I suddenly noticed the huge stain on my shirt. I was also wearing my favorite silk tie (it features head shots of the Looney Tune characters). Luckily no meatball sauce got on the tie. I would have been really upset if that had happened.
Oh and I have never gotten a drink thrown in my face and my roommate is not moving out.
You are up Blacula

Gosh - that was quick Quis! Alabama it is! New York was a good guess Dedman because that's where I live and study but this Student Filmmaker was really rich so he flew us all to his home state for his movie. So we spent a month filming his horror film on his ranch somewhere near Birmingham but him and his producer were so disorganised that the real horror was going on behind the scenes! Anyway, Quis - you're up.

OK which one of the following did NOT occur when I went to visit my Dad on Sunday May 13, 2007?
1) I had to walk from the train station to my Dad's 2) I cooked dinner 3) I pulled tree branches my brother had cut down off of the hedges 4) We visited my mom's grave 5) I turned over some soil in my dad's garden 6) I balanced my dad's checkbook 7) I hung drapes 8) I took the trash out

Nope, I had to do that. The train left 30 minutes late and my phone's battery was dead so I couldn't call Dad to let him know. However, the station is only a 10 minute walk from my Dad's. And they didn't charge us for the ride.

Nope. I hung up the drapes that I took down last week. Dad washed them during the week.

Nope, Dad got a roast. He gets a roast when he wants the pan-roasted potatoes I make with a roast. MMMMM roast beef.

Nope, I did take the trash out. Monday is trash day for Dad. He doesn't have me put it out every week, but this week he had enough to go out.

We have a winner. Although I do balance my Dad's checkbook, the statement usually comes in at the start of the month and I do it then. I did not do it this past Sunday.
