That is the correct answer.
I am currently reading about Abolitionist John Brown who raided the federal arsenal at Harper's Ferry Virginia in 1859 in the hopes of starting a slave insurrection. I have reached the part about the raid right now.
I have never read about Jane Addams who ounded Hull House in Chicago.
Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox of the American Revolution was one of the first books I read and got me interested in history.
I read about Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to graduate from medical school in the US, when I was a teenager.
And I read about Robert Green Ingersoll more recently. The Great Agnostic, Mr. Ingersoll campaigned for many politicians and presidents sought his advice. A reknown orator, his open agnosticism kept him from political office.
