Well since no one else has take a guess and we just saw an episode of this while channel surfing the other night.
The show was 'Here Come the Brides' and the theme was sung by Bobby Sherman.

That is correct LL. Here are the full lyrics.
The bluest skies you've ever seen in Seattle And the hills the greenest green in Seattle Like a beautiful child growing up free and wild Full of hopes and full of fears Full of laughter full of tears Full of dreams to last the years in Seattle In Seattle When it's time to leave your home and your loved ones It's the hardest thing a boy can ever do And you pray that you will find Someone warm and sweet and kind But you're not sure what's waiting there for you The bluest skies you've ever seen in Seattle And the hills the greenest green in Seattle Like a beautiful child growing up free and wild Full of hopes and full of fears Full of laughter full of tears Full of dreams to last the years in Seattle In Seattle When you find your own true love You will know it By her smile, by the look in her eye Scent of pine trees in the air Never knew a day so fair It makes you feel so good That you could cry The bluest skies you've ever seen in Seattle And the hills the greenest green in Seattle Like a beautiful child growing up free and wild Full of hopes and full of fears Full of laughter full of tears Full of dreams to last the years in Seattle In Seattle

Its funny. Caroline kept saying the show was called Seattle and I kept telling her it was Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Then when we saw the end credits it was a "d'oh!" moment for both of us. So up on your feet. Up on your feet Somewhere there’s music playing.

CJ,
That is the correct show. It was also the first time we saw Tom Hanks (well most of us. I checked and he was in an earlier horror movie). The song title is "My Life".

We got a right to pick a little fight ... [name of show]! If anyone fights anyone of us, he's gotta fight with me!
We're not a one to saddle up and run ... [name of show]! Anyone of us who starts a little fuss, knows he can count on me!
One for four Four for one, This we guarantee.
We got a right to pick a little fight ... [name of show]! If anyone fights anyone of us, he's gotta fight with me!

I don't know if its really sad we both know that one Craig or just proves our vast amount of (trivial) knowledge. You are, of course, correct.

Why's that sad? I loved that show... Here's our next theme song: You can count on me. No matter what you do. You can count on me. No matter where you go. I'm standing by your side. I'll be right behind. No one loves you more than I do, Put your hand in mine. I can see a part of me in you. A little something special that comes shining through. I hear it in your laughter, And I feel it when you cry, I will be right there for you, Until the day I die. You can count on me. No matter what you do. You can count on me. No matter where you go. You can count on me.
