The Mountains or The Beach?

Beach. I like the cool air in the mountains and all, but I also like swimming in the sea, soft white sand, and... I just have a lot of good memories at the beach

Pizza or pasta?

pasta. more fun overall cooking with pasta.

Prime time TV or late night movie

Not really a movie person. Still prime time TV.

Strawberries or raspberries?

Although raspberries have a much tartier, sharp flavour, I'll go with strawberries for the summer connotations I'm desperately clinging onto.

Lemon or Lime

Lime. I like both but prefer Lime, I don't find it to be as tart

chocolate milk or white milk

White milk every time for me.

Glasses or contacts?

Contacts for me

iPhone or Android?

iPhone, simply because I'm more familiar with it. I'm not much of a gadget person - I just need something that can text, call, access the Internet, play music and store photos. They don't even need to be the same gadget.

Sushi or Dimsum?

I get peckish just typing dim sum. Yums.

Tattoos or piercings?

It really depends on the tattoo and the piercing.

If it was a choice between an eyebrow piercing or a tattoo of a flaming skull, I'd go for piercing.

If it was a choice between a jaw piercing or a geometric tattoo, I'd go for the tattoo.

sci-fi or fantasy?

I think an "it depends" answer completely undermines this thread

I prefer Hard Sci-Fi over the the rest. Unless it's too dull. The other side is generally far more thought provoking anyway.

That's were it links nicely to fantasy, which can bring similar analogies into an infinity of worlds.

So it really depends on how good the writing is. What?

A LOT cheaper and you can do it in a bath tub.

x-country or downhill?

Since I'm rubbish at it, it's probably easier if I just fall down a hill rather than get stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Peanut butter on your toast or butter on your toast?

I only had peanut butter on a handful of occasions, so it would have to be butter. In practice, I rotate between jams, lemon curd and marmalade.

Over easy or sunny side up?

Sunny side up.

Bungee jumping or skydiving?

Skydiving is lovely, bungee jumping scary so I'll take jumping out of working planes please.


Running or Swimming?

Swimming. It exercises even your upper body, and at least I don't feel the heat so much while I'm in the water.

Green or blue?

skydiving:

I never bungy jumped and only skydived twice but it was a very social experience and the view was amazing.

Shovel snow or rake leaves?

I've no preference between Green and Blue. Lots of nice shades for both.

I would prefer to rake leaves than shovel snow as not being freezing cold is surely a good thing.

Drinks: Straight or on the rocks?

On the rocks. I prefer my drinks cold.

If it's Summer here, it's Winter there so I choose both.

Actually, if I had to choose my vacation time, Winter vacations are rare and cherished. Given a choice, Summer is about the last season I'd choose.

Looking out the window or watching tv?

Not when I do it, no Besides I'd already undermined my own position in an earlier post, without everyone else doing it too.:)

Summer has a near legendary status here. If you sleep in, or are at work go or don;t look out the window that afternoon, you may miss it. So, I'll go for summer just so I could see one.

Tricycles or Penny Farthings?

Watching TV, simply because there's not much to see outside my window. Still, the window is a perfectly good alternative if I'm on a train ride through a secnic route (like, say, on the way to Tibet...)

Tricycles, definitely. Penny farthings look so difficult to ride.
