Maybe in the 2010, we see all our favorite legionnaire girls in the new team.
This is my vision.....

Yes, it IS fun.
I especially like the way Shady's cape flares behind Spider Girl. Not only does it highlight SG but it makes the two figures have a relationship with each other that the rest of the girls lack.

Imra is especially interesting and vital, as well.
I love her hair short, I've decided.

The grouping does play up the problem with the new costumes designed by whomever, too.
Not only is there no cohesion, nothing forming any sort of team look, but, the eras are strangely mixed and confusing also.
That's not EmE's fault, but rather, the current designs' that she using.

I like Spider Girl's outfit, it's very dynamic if a little skimpy.

But that's my issue with female warrior designs in general.

Ooh... Very nice, Empress!

I prefer Spider Girl in her "Wave" mode, especially the animated 'verse version.

Veilmist would be a good addition to the LSH - or more likely as a guest star. I'd like to see the clash of her Khundish culture with the legionnaire females.

Seeing them all together like this, most of the costumes aren't too skimpy.

Empress, would you include Spider Girl as a villain or a hero? She could be a member but have a bad side, or be a *gasp* traitor!

Veilmist would be an interesting character to introduce to the Legion mythos again....one thing I think the 5YL Legion did was to make Khunds a bit more three-dimensional and even sympathetic at times...up until that point they had been cookie-cutter bad guys.

It would be interesting for the Legion to meet Khund superheroes who are genuinely altruistic, but also obviously have Khundish values..

Spider-Girl is not very much a villain while Insect Queen has been consigned to the dustbin of history

This universe's Kono, Neon or Kid Quantum would be welcome additions though

Computo (Danielle Foccart, all growed up) could be a neat one as well.

I would also love to see Veilmist in the Legion. A bit of a conflict powerwise with Gates, but I wouldn;t care.

Danielle definitely but not the code-name Computo too many bad associations

anyone remembers the Girls' Night Out story? I think it was in between S/LSH#240 to S/LSH # 250...back up story. spotlighting Princess Projectra, Dream Girl, Light Lass, and Shadow Lass I believe....I hope my memory is not all fuzzed out. I thought that it was all pretty cool! Loved that story. I enjoyed it.

That was the one where they went dancing, and I vaguely remember Light Lass drubbing some goons off of the ceiling with her powers, right?

I'm a big fan of Veilmist and Spider Girl(Wave).
I try to put all the girls in the present continuity.
Veilmist and Insect Queen are out of the present continuity.
Maybe Neon, Computo or Quantum Queen (The platinum blonde)might be good additions to the group.
And about Shikari and Kono, only if they have another powers...

I think an Insect Queen from the 31st Century who was Lana's descendant could be a cute idea... smile

And as far as Danielle Foccart calling herself Computo goes; I like it, though keeping in the Legion spirit I would change it to something like Kid Computo or similar....Danielle is young enough that she could make that kind of faux pas and it would cause lots of tension with some of the other characters, notably Luornu..

I thought it was interesting in the reboot, that Nura became a Khundian warrior and a general of the combined Khund and Lallor forces.

I don't think of Veilmist as a heroine so I'd be more likely to put her in the Empress' female Fatal Five (the Persuader was still with that group, wasn't he?)
With Caress and Flare, she'd be pretty interesting.
I can see her trying to 'steal' the Empress' control over P.

Why couldn't the retroboot include Insect Queen with the Xanthian or Lallorian groups like the reboot did?

Spider Girl's frustrated Jo Nah attachment in Legion on the Run was also used in a younger version in the reboot while they were in the Work Force.
Perhaps in the retroboot she might join the Legion to go after one of the other guys, like Rokk or Jaques.

I was pretty young at the time (well, I don't remember, maybe I was thirty and just stupid!), and I remember thinking that Light Lasses powers were pretty lame, until I saw that scene and thought to myself how awesome being able to fling someone repeated into the ceiling, and then let them fall, and then back to the ceiling, could be.

The Threeboot portrayal of her, with that 'gravity storm' on Colu, was a nice display of Ayla as a 'heavy hitter.'

I still kind of prefer her with lightning powers, 'though, even if they are vastly less useful for anything other than shooting people (and therefore require less creative applications, which, IMO, lead to lazier writing).
