(Side note: I have no idea what the connection is, but I found it interesting that Aykroyd has a daughter whose birthday is November 18.)

Of the guesses, Eryk's last one is sort of the closest... but the answer has nothing to do with birthdays (that is a weird coincidence about Aykroyd's daughter, though).

Hint #3 - When you figure out the connection, you'll see that Grier had it first, Ricci had it in the middle, and Aykroyd had it last.

I guess this one is harder than I thought - possibly because the Christina Ricci one isn't immediately apparent, so:

Hint #4 - You'd think Christina Ricci might not fit this Triad (being two days early) but if you consider her in full you'd see she actually does.

Hm, just stumbled across the answer. Very clever, actually. I didn't get it on my own at all, so I'll refrain from answering at this point.

I'm assuming they all played characters named "Friday".

Close enough for government work.

Pam Grier played the title character in the 70's film, Friday Foster.

Christina Ricci played Wednesday Addams, whose middle name, in a neat bit of trivia, is actually Friday.

And Dan Aykroyd was in the 80's remake of Dragnet, playing a cop who shared his more famous uncle's name, Sgt. Joe Friday.

Eryk's up next.

I would've gone with Ed O'Neill rather than Dan Ackroyd.

No, it is not the color green.

Hint: By the strict criteria I used, these three are the only Postboot Legionnaires I can think of who would fit this triad.

If I relaxed the criteria somewhat, XS, Sensor and Triad could also fit.

Another hint: The triad conditions are tied to their origin stories.

Did it have to do with their parents being involved in giving them their powers? I can't remember the details for any of them, but I seem to remember Monstress parent (father?), Kinitex's mother, and certainly Brainiac 5's creepy mother all being involved.

Close, but not quite. Brainiac 5's mom passed on her genius genes to him, but other than that she didn't have anything to do with his powers.

You are on the right track, though.

Another hint:

It does have to do with their parentage - or apparent lack of it.

Another hint:

Reading their origin stories will reveal the answer.

Correct, Quis! Their second parent is never mentioned, while their first parent is apparently still alive.

XS, Sensor and Triad (I assume) all have one living parent and one dead parent; the difference is, the dead parent is confirmed dead.

You're up!

Toughie. Maybe irregular word formation for the name of the local people... like you wouldn't just add "er" or "an" to refer to the residents, you'd say Peruvian, Welsh, and Dutch?

I'm sure that's not it. Clue?

Those all may be true, but it is not the triad I have in mind.

As for a clue..... Florida would work to replace any of the ones listed.
