three Iroquois nations.

specifically, three of the six (Seneca, Mohawk and Oneida being the others), nations that exist today in both NY and Ontario.

I know the last one is the Greenlandic name for Greenland. Are they native names for places generally known in English by other names?

also, all three had some sort of royal connection, real or fictitious: Young hosted a TV show that included a segment called "King's Row," and Fisher's daughter was Princess Leia.

Wives named Elizabeth is what I was going for: The Duke of Edinburgh, of course, is married to the Queen; Eddie Fisher was married to Elizabeth Taylor; Gig Young was married to Elizabeth Montgomery.

Go ahead Kent.

not that I'm aware of; but even if true, that's not what I'm looking for. Comparitively speaking, Matthew E was closer, in terms of subject matter.

Okay, I'll post something new tomorrow (I always think of good ones while walking, not sitting at a computer).

What was the link for your previous one?

oh- the previous one was that they all played the same obscure Shakespeare part (I have it written down, but not with me).

Short is not what I am looking for.

Hint: the correct answer also involves things that transpired after their lifetimes.

you are close - much closer than I'd imagined without more hints. You are in the right ballpark, but your score is a little bit off.

"movies not about them" is slightly off the mark, but yet is also part of the answer.

"Little Big Man" is not the film title in question (there's a reason I put it like that).
