Nope. And BTW, not only are they in the same state, they're even in the same county.

I'll throw another hint. The county they're in shares its name with the biggest city in another state. And not an obscure city, but a major one, one with a team in all four popular American major league sports.

I know Cole Porter was from Peru, Indiana, so let's say they're all cities in Indiana.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

I refuse to let this game die, so I'll give this one a shot, though I'm sure it's not specific enough (even if it's correct):
They were all nominated for Best Actress in the 1950's.

Quis has it. Marni Nixon dubbed some of Deborah Kerr's singing in The King and I, all of Natalie Wood's singning in West Side Story and most of Audrey Hepburn's singing in My Fair Lady.

the Colossus of Rhodes, The Poem The New Colossus located at and about the Statue of Liberty, and, of course, Colossus of the X-Men.

I copied your text into a translation service. It came back as "This is ca. Forward." Assuming that "ca" means "correct" and not "ca-ca" , here's the next triad: Star Trek The Simpsons Grey's Anatomy

I don't think Nimoy has appeared on "Grey's Anatomy," Quis.

"This is that"? That makes sense. Seriously, I know what you mean. I can't always find a way to use umlauts and ess-szets in German when posting on the Internet.

Clue #2: The name I have in mind is a first, middle, and last name (for different characters, natch).

The name Montgomery, I guess?
I didn't realize until now that Scotty's first name was Montgomery (had to look that up on Wikipedia) and I've never watched Gray's Anatomy, but IMDB indicates a character whose last name is (or was) Montgomery. And the Simpsons I know has Charles Montgomery Burns.

Under a C, it looks like this: รง. *End interlude*
