Here's a sort of a hint: when I first thought up this question I had Geena Davis in there instead of Miss Arrowette, but had to scramble for someone else when I found that Geena didn't *quite* qualify.

Yup, one of the bits of trivia about Geena Davis that I have in memory was that she had (almost?) qualified for the US Archery team.
