When I saw the list, I had no clue. But when I saw Lance's realm's answer, I thought "that must be it"

All are male characters who have been portrayed or voiced by women.

No guesses? A hint...it has to do with other non-comic adaptations of these characters

More hint: It has to do with actors who have played these characters in movies or television...

Continuing hints...
For Dr. Jason Woodrue, it has to do with the actor who played him in a movie (to my knowledge, only one possibility)
For the Flash, it has to do with an actor who voiced him in a cartoon (one or two possibilities)
For Lana Lang, it has to do with an actress who played her in a movie (two possibilities)
These three actors all have something in common...

I will admit I cheated a little by looking up Jason Woodrue at IMDB.
The link would be that the actors all appear in Smallville as different characters

That's right. No problem that you "cheated"...this has gone on for a while now. For anyone else interested, the actors are John Glover (Lionel Luthor) from Batman & Robin, Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) from Justice League, and Annette O'Toole (Martha Kent) from Superman III.
