Not to nitpick, but didn't Vidar actually manipulate Glorith into sacrificing her life without her knowledge?

Not at all, Drake - Glorith didn't realize that it would cost her her present (Mordruverse) life, but she realized that whoever did the spell would stand to be very powerful in the new universe that would arise, and she forced Rond to let her do it, or else she'd blow the whistle to Mordru.

To Kent's question - they all married royalty/heads of government.
