What it means is that it is getting cold outside so I have to turn on my furnace so I can be warm. And I have done that. So it is a lie that I have resisted putting on the heat.

Whoops, thanks Kent. Got confused. Need to catch up on sleep.
Okay...
1) I did overtime every day last week, including Saturday.
2) I now need at least one cup of coffee in the morning to get ready to leave the house.
3) I have done overtime twice this week.

Quis has it. My girlfriend and I went to the opera two weeks ago.
It turns out we won't be going to the Japanese festival, either, but we had planned to go when I posted the above.
And we just got back from an awesome ballet performance.

I did wake up late (9am) yesterday morning.
I normally help people on the subway. At my station, there are 2 platforms because the line splits. So inbound trains can come in on either platform. They do have a signal to let you know which platform to go to for the next train about a minute before it arrives. The stop is also the stop for the JFK Library and there are 2 hotels nearby. So it is common to see people confused as to where to go. I will explain the signal to them. I also go to the South Station stop which also has a train station and bus station. So lots of people get confused as to where to go, either going to the subway or coming from the subway. Again, I will ask if they need help and give them directions.
And it was rainy yesterday, but I took my umbrella with me. So, I was not caught without it when the rain started.
