Thanks for the clarification, Quis. I suppose things in Manila would be similar, if the rivers running through the capital were actually clean. I haven't seen a shirtless jogger yet, though, except for a few foreigners.

1. I had a bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, tomato and capers for breakfast today.

2. I have a paper due Tuesdayish and am only now breaking through the block I have faced on it for the past several months.

3. I have around 40 student essays that have to be graded by Monday the 30th.

Everyone knows that real bagels are on the endangered list.

I did have a bagel! Not the greatest of bagels nor the greatest of salmon, but close enough.

I do have a paper due Tuesdayish. Right now it looks more like Wednesday, but time will tell. You'll see more of me when it is done.

I do have 40ish essays to grade. But luckily, the 30th is only the date to shoot for, not the absolute deadline.

So it is Quis' turn!

I went to a book club meeting tonight (my first one and an all gay men book club to boot)

1) The book discussed was Song of Archilles
2) The cutest guy sat next to me
3) A couple of us went out for drinks afterwards

The book discussed was Song of Archilles. I liked it, as did most of the other guys there. It is an easy read.

Blaze and I did watch a movie - a very naughty movie.

We had dimsum, and it was Blaze's treat. Very tasty.

We went swimming a couple of dates ago, but not last date.

I have never visited the Grand Canyon, but I have wanted to.

I went to Mount Vernon on a family vacation to DC.

I went to the top of the Sears tower while waiting for my connecting train. On the top floor they have built these clear plastic boxes that extend out of the building. You can step out on to them. I tried, but was unable to.

Those clear plastic boxes do sound scary. I was going to visit the Grand Canyon, but sadly had to fly home the weekend before that plan materialized frown

1) I decided to go to sleep because it browned out in my area last night.

2) Although I ate a lot of Japanese food for dinner, I found myself getting hungry again at midnight.

3) I called Blaze to say good night before I went to bed.

Awww smile That gave me the shivers.

It's still the lie though, because Blaze is such a sleepyhead and almost always goes to bed before I do tongue

Back to you Quis!
