1) Blood Type Diet

The only diet I'm familiar with on the list. Had to google the rest.

Yeah. sigh I think a lot of it had to do with working in the office environment where I didn't have much in common with the other women there. The diet thing at least gave us something to talk about other than kids (of which I had none) and comics (about which they knew pretty much nothing, unless it was strips in the newspaper).

I never tried Atkins, FWIW. By the time I'd heard of it, I'd already been diagnosed with kidney disease, so I was smart enough to know what a dirty word "ketosis" really is.

Invisible Brainiac gets the next round!

I have the same problem with sports in the office! Don't watch none of it.

1. I munch on oatmeal with peanut butter and honey all day at the office.

2. I drink plenty of green tea and herb teas at the office.

3. I help myself to plenty of coffee with cream and sugar at the office.

No sense waiting for a 3rd guess, as HWW has it. I rarely drink coffee; I prefer tea. And I snack constantly throughout the day since I prefer grazing.

The other two choices were so healthy that coffee with cream and sugar stood out. smile

During my attempts to learn to play guitar, I learned (or tried to learn) the following songs:

1. "Lady" by Styx

2. "Lonesome Loser" by Little River Band

3. "More Than a Feeling" by Boston

Kent has it. I never learned to play "Lonesome Loser," though I admired the guitar work (by David Briggs, I think).

Thanks for the reminder, Ibby. I forgot about this.

1. I have lost at least10 pounds in the past two weeks.
2. I have signed a lease for a new place and will be moving to a new apartment in Kitsilano, my favourite neighbourhood of Vancouver, in August.
3. I have been asked to do some artwork for a local charity.

I have been asked to do some artwork for a local charity. Not just me, but the entire life drawing club i belong to.

I have lost at least10 pounds in the past two weeks. A short bout of illness crimped my appetite for a few days two weeks ago, and I used that as a starting point to overhaul my eating habits, my exercise routine, and take some time away from beer.

After a brief foray a month ago or so, I have postponed apartment-hunting for the time being. No new apartment, although I would love to live in Kitsilano.

go, HWWey!

1. My car's brakes went out on the highway last week.

2. I've been driving a loaner car--a much smaller vehicle--and surprisingly enjoying it.

3. I get my car back tomorrow.

I have been driving a loaner car--a Ford Taurus, which is much smaller than my Jeep Cherokee, SUV, and, to my surprise, it's a very smooth ride.

I've been told I'll get my car back tomorrow, so, as far as I know, that's not a lie (yet).

But the brakes didn't go out. A gasket blew instead.

Back to you, Kent.

Okay. I have plans for tomorrow:

1. I am going to a concert in Kitsilano.
2. I am planning a day-trip to Victoria, where I haven't been since 20 years ago this week (Saturday, to be precise).
3. I am meeting friends for dinner at my favorite Brazilian restaurant downtown.
