Oopsie! I made the thread hibernate for a month and a half 1) Blaze and I made chicken and fish jambalaya together. 2) Blaze and I went shopping for business clothes together. 3) Blaze and I finished off two pitchers of mind-numbing cocktails together.

The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

and for what it's worth, I hope this one isn't the lie! This is so true - 2 1/2 pitchers, actually. And we had another pitcher a few hours before. Needless to say, we were wasted Originally posted by Rockhopper Lad: 1) Blaze and I made chicken and fish jambalaya together. Just earlier this month, actually. Blaze loves my cooking, but my honey's getting quite good at it too. Originally posted by Quislet, Esq: 2) Blaze and I went shopping for business clothes together. And Quis has it! We've never actually gone clothes shopping together, although we're both looking forward to checking each other out in the dressing room

I do have 140 fans on the Huffington Post. And the book I am reading is pretty boring. I didn't think it would be. It is a book about firsts. First airplane passenger, first ballet, first envelope, etc. and I am into that sort of thing.
I did not have a funeral to attend today. The funeral is tomorrow, Wednesday. It is for my brother's mother-in-law. She was 94 and passed away peacefully.

okay, then... For my upcoming trip:
This will be my first round trip originating from the west coast. I will be overnighting in Toronto the night before my return flight, as it departs at 7 a.m.. I will be initially flying out from Seattle, but the return flight lands in Vancouver.

I will not be setting foot in the USA at all this trip, not Seattle nor elsewhere (but I did consider flying Seattle-Buffalo at one point, when it was half the cost of Vancouver-Toronto).
This will be my first r/t from the west coast, and at the time I posted this I did intend to overnight in TO (although that *might* be changing now, that was intended as true at the time I posted it).
Go, RB!

Hotcha!
1) Recently, I was jogging on a treadmill at the gym and watching TV. One of the commercials was for Golden Corral's endless chocolate fountain. Directly afterward, I went out and gorged at a Golden Corral buffet, thus rendering my workout perversely counterproductive.
2) Recently, I was jogging on a treadmill at the gym and watching TV. A Travel or Food network show was on, featuring "the best BBQ in Texas" or something similar. Directly afterward, I went out and ate a pound of BBQ brisket, thus rendering my workout perversely counterproductive.
3) As I compose this post, I am working on (i.e., eating) a pound of chopped pork from a local BBQ.

KryptonKid got it. I did see a commercial for Golden Corral's "chocolate wonderfall" and was tempted. However, I changed my mind when I Googled "golden corral chocolate fountain" afterward, and all of Google's top suggestions ended in things like "gross" and "unsanitary." After checking out a few links, all I could think of was the image of kids sticking their entire fists into the chocolate, or fishing things dropped in the chocolate with their hands. I have been eating a ton of BBQ lately, though! BTW, this was the Golden Corral commercial I saw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBqmKIh6lTM&feature=relmfu What cracks me up is the "cowboy" with the super-deep voice who says, "S'mores," and then "Too good to be true? Not this time!" I also like the guy whose year was made because he dipped a cherry macaroon in some chocolate... what a life he must have!
