Although I'm primarily a classic rock fan, I do listen to other music occasionally. I like classical for its soothing, uplifting quality. I like the storytelling and lyrical accessibility of country.
Jazz I've never gotten into, despite belonging to a church which occasionally offers "Jazz Sunday" services.
Back to you, Quis.

Mariana sat on my right. I am not sure what she ate exactly. She said no to both the mashed potatoes, ham, and chicken I offered her.
And not only did Andy not sit next to me (although he did sit on the other side of MAriana) he is not my great nephew, only a regular nephew who is great but not the son of my niece.
Your turn Rockstar!

For Christmas I received: 1. Season two of I Love Lucy from my mom. 2. Poseable Gumby and Pokey dolls from my best friend Tom. 3. A wool scarf from my other friend Thom.

I got Gumby and Pokey. I don't think I've ever seen an actual Gumby show, but they're cute.
My other friend, Thom (with an "H"), who has sung in the choir with me for many years, gave me a lovely scarf. Even though Houston doesn't get really cold, I do wear a scarf on colder days.
My mother gave me a Lucille Ball doll that recites the "Vitameatavegamin" commercial and a DVD compilation from the 1960s series The Lucy Show, but not I Love Lucy.

Right with the first guess. Cherub is the name of my niece's dog. Pete was the first dog for me. Hannibal wasn't a pet for long as he ran away and we could not find him. He did have one blue eye and one brown eye, so we think someone took him in.

On Christmas Day, I visited my brother, who likes the finer things in life, such as cigars and Scotch. My contribution to the party was a bottle of mead, which a friend recently introduced me to. After drinking the mead, I smoked a cigar for the first time. However, my brother did not have any Scotch on hand.
Take it away, Ibby.

I have no idea if I can buy it over here. I guess I could, I just haven't looked hard enough! Originally posted by He Who Wanders: Why can't you taste mead?
