1) I've had comic art professionally published by a semi-well-known "alternative" publisher.

2) I vacationed in Mexico a several years back and had a great time.

3) I had the trees in my yard cut down, because I hated them.

1) I had two small pieces published by Fantagraphics, back in the late 1990s. One was a collage-comic hybrid and the other was a straight-up collage. They appeared on the back cover of two issues of Roberta Gregory's Naughty Bits.

2) Sadly, I've never been to Mexico.

3) I did have two trees in my yard cut down. One was a gigantic pine that made the house look even smaller than it really is. The other was a "volunteer" apple that always bore lousy fruit, because of a stubborn disease the tree had. I've put in some saplings to replace the trees we cut, though.

Rocky wins!

1) In all my years of singing in church, I have never had a solo.

2) Although I love musical theatre, I have not been in a musical since grade school.

3) I used to go to sing-along piano bars regularly.

1) Although I'm mainly a sectional singer and not a soloist, I have sung by myself a few times, most recently when I cantored a psalm about two years ago.

2) My career in musical theatre pretty much started and ended with a fifth-grade production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (in the title role).

3) I have at one time or another a regular patron of the Napoleon Club in Boston and the Briar Patch in Houston (both now defunct). I miss those places. Sing-along piano bars are great.

Over to Outdoor Miner.

Rockhopper Lad caught the lie. I have never worked in a bar. While in college, I did work in a comic book shop.

Let's take the bar theme:

1. I occasionally enjoy a martini, but only the traditional gin martini.

2. I occasionally enjoy a martini, but eschewing tradition, I prefer it made with vodka.

3. I occasionally enjoy a martini, but I don't care much for the flavored varieties (such as an appletini).

And back over to Quis. I don't care for gin nor for those other "tinis". Just give me vodka, vermouth and olives, please. laugh
