Congratulations to Outdoor Miner! My first car was, in fact, a 1985 Chevy Cavalier.

I cannot swim (I learned how in order to pass PE, but that was over 20 years ago and I don't think I've been in a pool since, so I doubt I remember) and do keep a Slinky on my desk (a great stress reliever).

I was a Cub Scout. Made it all the way to Webelo. The uniform's still in storage; Lord knows why I've kept it.

I have an Alex Ross-drawn portrait of the JSA in the bedroom. It was the best fit for it. It's the most expensive piece I've ever owned.

I have roadied (without pay) for friends' bands in the past, but none of them played punk.

I appeared in a local ABC talk show (Kelly & Co) when I was 19. It was a show about Alopecia, which is the reason I have no hair.

My Senior year in HS, our basketball team got to play a game on the Pistons home court before an actual NBA game. Got to meet several players briefly...this was before they moved to the Palace.

Never been in a movie...

Although I can barely play, I went on a couple of European tours with a group of organists and managed to work up what was more or less a fake book arrangement of a simple hymn tune and played it at Notre-Dame. On another trip, the group was invited to sit in the choir at Evensong at Westminster Abbey.

As for Washington National Cathedral, a few people from the church choir I have sung with for many years went there as part of a diocesan choir that sang on Texas Sunday (each state is honored on a different Sunday during the year) a few years ago, but I was not able to make that trip.

I still have all the 8-track tapes that didn't warp or break that the family had. I still have the stereo there were played on too.

I knew I didn't have the mindset that would let me commit to a team, so football was out for me.

I have no allergies that I'm aware of. I stole the cottage cheese thing from an old Mary Tyler Moore episode.
