Jeepers! I actually liked many of the Magic Wars designs...

I did too. But, A.) many did seem like Giffen was making them up as he went along rather than actually think about the character involved and the whole pockets/pouches motif was way over done. One or two Legionnaires maybe, but it doesn't resonate as Legion-like for me unlike Sprouse's designs. And, B.) so many of the other costumes are way more cool and interesting for me.

Well, the results for round 2 are in, and the undisputed worst costume for the round, with 8 votes, is Andromeda(Post-anomaly pants.) Must have been the boots. Or the lousy haircut.

Tied with 6 votes apiece going next are Shikari(Progenitor's universe) and Magnetic Kid(Magic Wars). Somehow, I have a feeling that Pol won't be the first from Magic Wars to leave the game this round. Call it a hunch.

NEXT! Waving good-bye tied with 5 votes apiece are ERG-1 (Legion on the Run) and Blok (Magic Wars). It starts...

For this round, I'm giving everyone who plays a little bonus. Once again, we're all going to vote for our 20 least favorite costumes still remaining to leave the game this round. However: for the mini-game, I want everyone to pick one costume to automatically make it into the top 100. Everyone's pick for that slot will have immunity until we get to that point.

And, I agree about Dream Girl (obviously). I love her costume. Actually, I like most of Kiston's costumes. But, alas, immunity could only be granted to one.

If the person opts to continue with their vote, then absolutely it will count toward later tiebreakers. (You Survivor pro!!!)

The main reason I'm pointing this out is for fairness, since this minigame is effectively changing the status of those granted immunity during the round. I doubt that I'll do another minigame quite like this one in later rounds (though I DO think it's an awesome twist... it's just if it happened too much later on in the game, it would unbalance things.) But for now I think it's nice to give everyone a chance to save one of their favorites from early elimination (plus it gives all the early players a little incentive: from past experience, I know these mega-survivor games pick up speed and popularity in the later rounds, when it's both easier to play and a bigger bang for one's time (when the big guns start getting eliminated.)

Gary: I'm confused. Are you voting for classic Sun Boy to go, AND giving him immunity, or is that a typo?

Wow! I get totally surprised by how different people's tastes can be sometimes. Here's me thinking that Kitson's Dream Girl costume is the worst Legionnaire outfit ever and Cal and KP like it enough to save it for the Top 100! Maybe I'm having trouble separating it from that horrible yellow hairdo she was sporting for a few issues. I'll have to go through my back-issues and give it another look.

In the meantime I'll change my elimination vote to...
