I bought the whole series a long time ago out of the back issue bins and was SO disappointed that there were only a few new LSH stories in the run. It's nice to have them but what I wanted was the beginning of Dave Cockrum's run on the Legion.
It was the Action issues that I had such a hard time finding. I loved those Legion backups. I'm saddened that comics so rarely use all those extra characters they have lying around to do backup stories anymore. I might not buy an issue of Wonder Woman as a regular thing but I'd definitely get it if there were a six or eight Light Lass story in the back of it.

Fortunately, DC has reprinted ALL of these stories in the LEGION ARCHIVES books. Even better is that, unlike Marvel, DC kept their negatives and/or original stats, and anything they reprint from around 1960-up tends to look AS GOOD AS the originals-- if not better, because of the better paper. (See the recent JIMMY OLSEN ADVENTURES pair of books for a good example. I have almost all of the original comics of those-- and the reprints actually look WAY better!)
The entire Dave Cockrum run managed to neatly fit into a single ARCHIVE volume. Wouldn't you know, THAT was the one that had severe printing problems? But DC manages to do "the right thing"-- and offered free exchanges for a corrected 2nd printing. I got mine!
