He Who... Not the same Ingersoll. This one was an 19th century speaker known as the Great Agnostic.
The Novelty has it. I have started Lost Scriptures by Bart Ehrman. He isn't Bart Simpson, but a scholar and author of a few book on the early century Christians. His "Misquoting Jesus" is a book I recommend.

I read one of Bart Ehrman's books -- the one about Peter, Paul, and Mary Magdalene, I believe. Also worth reading.

Crossroads is a nice place at which I hang out with a group of artist- and writer-friends every Saturday. But it, too, is about half an hour away.
You haven't heard of most of these, IB, because they are all in and around the Kansas City area. Some are local businesses; a few are chains.
As for my favorite . . . I guess that would be the one that IS closest to my home, the one no one has named yet.
