Still one correct. (Unless I were planning a looong trip there, I can't imagine taking the time to learn Lithuanian. I did meet a cute girl a few years ago who was from Lithuania. I did wish then that I spoke some. Ah well...)

As some of you know, I studied German in college. Borrowing lance's list, which other two foreign languages have I studied?
French Spanish Japanese Chinese Italian Russian Lithuanian Australian Dutch

lance has it.
In middle school, I took one semester each of French and Spanish, which, conveniently, were taught by the same teacher.

I just decided to avoid the exotic and go for the obvious.
I also found it interesting that, even though I included "Australian" on the list of foreign languages, not one person made a joke about it. Not even a "Foster's beer" crack. I think you guys (and gals!) are slipping. Or, possibly, it just isn't funny enough to comment on, in which case I am the one who is slipping...

I thought about including something along the lines of "Australian? " in my guess, but I didn't. I figured you were either making a joke or delving into the finer points of "barbie" and "g'day" as a study in dialect.

I kind of knew Australian was a joke. Too busy trying to answer to use an obviously wrong answer.

Using the same list...which of these languages do I know enough of (and have a good enough accent) to have been mistaken several times for a native of that country by a native of that country?
French German Spanish Japanese Chinese Italian Russian Lithuanian Australian Dutch

I did once ask a lady from Australia if the language barrier ever tripped her up. She replied that it was the other way around. That is, she understood American just fine, but when she peppered her speech with Australianisms, Americans didn't understand her at all.

hmmm... do you mean that you know two of these languages (like how the previous questioners studied two) or just one?
Assuming it is just one, my guess is German

Sorry I wasn't clear - I was asking for just one language. And yes, it is German. 4 years in high school, a few years in college, and 7 weeks in Germany living with a German family and I wasn't allowed to speak any English.
You're up Quis!
