Naturally, a lot of the original "Cobalt Kid, ladies man" persona took a bit from Rick Rude (though never as mean-spirited).

I honestly never liked Hogan or the Warrior. They were too beloved by the time I watched.

I also liked the Macho Man because he was such a good athlete.

Bret Hart was another one I liked because of his athleticism.

I used to LOVE wrestling as a kid. Even then I knew it was (A) staged and (B) pretty low-grade entertainment (almost trashy), which made me love it more.

A recent round of this game dealt with video games... which I haven't played in a looooooong time. My peak game playing days were the during height of the NES system. I assume they have expanded this these days, but the last time I played, you still recorded your high score with a three letter name.

What was my three letter tag, back in the day?

Although I rescued many a princess in Super-Mario, this king never signed off as "REX".

Sharky swallowed the red herring, going with my real name, which no self-respecting Nintendo-head would ever use.

As for “TEX”, although I played Tecmo Bowl, the Giants were far more my team than the Cowboys ever would be.

So what was my old school videa game name?

XYZ was actually my little brother's tag (the lazy cuss).

The closest I got to XXX at that age was Samus in a bikini at the end of Metroid.

And although I was a dead-eye shot in Duck Hunt, I wasn't X_X.

I was, however... HEX. This would have been around '86 -'87, right about the time when a certain DC Comics gunslinger had been transported to a post-apocalyptic world. I don't why, but I dug the hell out of that series, and adopted the tag, "HEX", as my personal brand.

Variants of that stuck with me for a long time, as in the early days of my internet I was "hex1973", then "hexell73", then "hextreme". When I first was signing up at the DCMB's, I considered going with "hexnihil," but I figured it was time to move on... and I lost my "H".

Next round to Dave Hackett.

I got NHL '09 on Sale, from a discount bin on a no tax day. I literally payed $4.00 for a PS3 game. And it was awesome, but I didn't get too far into it before the game in question came along and bumped it to the "maybe later" pile.

Similarly I picked up Arkham Asylum because it was supposed to great, but I started our current game fist, so Bats will need to wait for a while.

I've been consciously avoiding DC Online, as I'm afraid it would just suck me right in. I even passed up a Beta code at San Diego this year. It looks incredible though.

Keep guessing.
