I can't say anything bad about the author of this article, because I have never met him. Let's just say I hope to keep it that way. I didn't truely dislike him until he claimed that comic books weren't an art form.
This is a quote from the man's article...
"No matter how effectively the (comic book) movie does what it has to do, it can't transcend the essential stupidity of its central conceit."
I can't help but think that sentence should be turned around to describe the author of the article himself.
For instance:
"No matter how he does what he has to do, he can't transcend the essential stupidity of his own central conceit."
