Indeed it was, John. The episode plot had involved Timmy (as the Crimson Chin's sidekick, IIRC) attending a school for super-hero kids, and that obvious homage to Tenzil Kem was amongst his school-mates.

Wasn't there also a Bouncing 'Boil' in that same episode?

Ok This maybe easy.
In the early 70's both Superman and Wonder Woman made separate guest appearances on a cartoon based upon characters from a popular TV show. What was the name of the cartoon?

Nope. By the way--"write for" meant a comic title, not episodes of the actual cartoon series...

Just guessing -- Pinky and the Brain?
Before each night is done Their plan will be unfurled! By the dawning of the sun They'll take over the World!
"Gee, Brainy, what do you want to do tonight?" "The same thing we do every night, Bouncing Boy: try to take over the United Planets!!" They're B.B. and The Brain ...

Bevis is correct! True C & D are chipmunks, PB but Monterey Jack and Gadget were mice, and of course, Zipper the fly was the final member of the Rescue Rangers. You're up Bevis.

OK, this might not go anywhere since I have a suspicion that it'll only mean anything to UK posters, but what was the name of the woodpecker in Bagpuss?
