That's the one!
And this I have to share. I was still in school when this movie came out on video and some friends and I rented it one night. We took it over to Bobby's house because he had a fully finished basement all to himself for his room. About half way through the movie, right at the exact moment the person on the screen flipped a switch on a power box we lost our power. Scared the hell out of us. I don't remember if we finished watching the movie but I do remember that the power didn't come back on for hours. For all we knew C.H.U.D. was taking over.
Okay, sorry for the ramble. Your turn Drake.

That sounds like it could be Planes, Trains, and Automobiles... but I wouldn't stake the ranch on it.

Oh come on Mike, bet the ranch. I promise you'll walk away a winner.
It is from Planes, Trains and Automobiles. One of my favorite John Candy movies.
Next quote to you.

Had to get my confidence back... I haven't picked a winner in a while...
The next quote is (and I'm paraphrasing)...
"...and they started playing ping pong with my balls. Oh the agony... Oh the shame... to make my privates public for a game."

The quote comes from a song, being sung by a famous comedian.

The esteemed Quislet, Esq is correct. Jackie Mason sung the line during the Inquisition song if I'm correct.
You're up.

Don't recall seeing that as part of the requirements for the quote but here goes.
Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire as David) can't get the attention of the fireman for a fire by yelling Fire! Fire! So he yells Cat! at which they quit playing cards and stuff and grab their gear, running for the fire truck.

That is correct. I did think you had to identify the speaker though. I did add the part about asking for the circumstance.
You are next.

It depends on the asker. Normally, at least for myself, I've just been asking for the movie to be identified.

Ah - so! Then I would say it was from either Shanghai Noon or Shanghai Knights. Said by Owen Wilson's character to Jackie Chan
