Travelling Wilburys consisted of George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and Jeff Lynne, none of whom were in a previous band together.
Hot Tuna is correct, as early members included Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, and Marty Balin, all from Jefferson Airplane.
Ringo and the All Stars contained two members of both the Eagles and the Band at various times, but not three of any group.

Where are all the music trivia buffs? Krypton Kid? Miner?
Clue: The three bands I'm thinking of -- I'd forgotten about Hot Tuna -- are British. One was a hard rock band active in the '70s and '80s. The second was named after an indy comic book.
The third band was formed after the suicide of the previous band's lead singer.

Yes, Kent, I'm looking for three members of the same bands. Sorry for the confusion. I thought my examples of Asia and CSNY were clear enough.

Whitesnake included three former members of Deep Purple.
Velvet Revolver includes three former members of Guns'n'Roses.
With Hot Tuna that gives me three.
If you want to go up to four members, there's Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, Howe, which was made up of former members of Yes.

Oh, and Pearl Jam was formed by three members of Temple of the Dog, though paradoxically the earlier band didn't become successful until after Pearl Jam was famous.

You got it, Eryk.
There were many possible answers. The two other bands I was thinking of were Love and Rockets (formed by three former members of Bauhaus) and New Order (formed by the three surviving members of Joy Division).

Now I am going to check to see if I am correct.

And yes I am. Thanks go to They Might Be Giants. I was going to guess Van Buren, but their song "James K Polk" reminded me that both Polk and Van Buren were Democrats.
So name 3 US states that only have one Representative. (For non-us posters, the number of Representatives a state has is based upon population. The more people in a state, the more representatives they have.)

Rockhopper Lad,
you are correct, but you don't need to wait for confirmation if you know you are correct or self-verify that you are correct.

Oh, yeah. I knew that. Name three US broadcast TV networks that are no longer in operation.

OK, name three heros/villains/entities that pre-boot were from or first encountered in the 30th (or 31st) century, but which were retconned to be being from / first encountered in the 20th or 21st century after Zero Hour.
Did that make sense?

I'm not sure about this, so I'll wait for confirmation:
Andrew Nolan Douglas Nolan the Sun-Eater
Yes?

Using both of the Nolan brothers is a little easy, but it still works. The other one I was thinking of was Computo.

Let's see...
Hourman (either Rex or Rick Tyler; didn't think it would be fair to claim both?)
Vita-Man from "Big Bang Comics" was a tribute to Hourman. So I suppose he'd count?
Captain Nice, from the 1960's TV show, possibly. Though I don't know if his power would last only an hour?

Seth: I don't know about your last two, but if you think they're right, go ahead. The three I was thinking of were the two Hourmen and Captain Carrot.

Hmmm... I know you don't mean the Muppet Show and I don't think you mean Sesame Street.
I am pretty sure Kermit is one. Can't think of any other without looking it up.
