A ruthless gang of gamblers murdered Carolina Blue before his last race. While investigating the death of his horse, Smiley Smalls was shocked to find himself aided by Carolina Blue's ghost! Since then they've solved numerous mysteries together, with Smiley Smalls now a true Ghost Rider!

Upon his release, Bouncing Boy has worked for Maxie Zeus, Black Mask, and Two-Face. He recently moved to Metropolis and is employed covertly by LexCorp.

Max Brendan spent his youth planning out his life. He was going to be a pro ball player, just like his dad almost was (drummed out due to an arm injury in summer camp, came *that* close).

After suffering a head injury during warm-up for a big game, he ended up in the hospital with his mom. Due to a mixup, his dad missed the message and ended up at the game, where he watched his son play the game of his life! It wasn't until the parents compared notes at the end of the day that they discovered that they had somehow acquired an extra son! (Max 1.0 was delerious in the hospital throughout the game, but remembers it as a vivid dream, as he and his duplicate are psychically linked.)

He has kept his powers secret, for now, and he can call upon the strength, reflexes, intellect and stamina of two athletic young men, or split into two, depending on which would be more advantageous. He's two people in one, when he's not actually being two people!

Sandra Shearer always had an affinity for birds. She studied ornithology in college, writing her senior thesis on a particular species of hawk. While on vacation in Egypt after graduation, she purchased a small statue resembling Horus, the hawk-headed Egyptian god, assuming it to be a reproduction. The statue actually dated to the 19th Dynasty and imbued her with the power to change herself into a hawk. She now uses this ability to fight crime.

Dr Fate goes by Frank A. Taylor-Edwards in real life - but that's not is real name and one knows that he is going by an alias. A con artist with a photographic memory, he notices things and puts things together that make people think he is physic. He just fakes it really good for his own personal gain. Sometimes he will help the little person but most likely he will just screw them over.

Daffyd ap Gwyn heard as a child that his family was descended from the Authurian knight, Gawain, and that a gift was supposed to manifest in a certain number of generations. (The exact number always changed, and had, thus far, always been wrong.)

So he was kind of surprised when he discovered that the gift wasn't just a family myth, and he transformed at the hour of 12 o'clock into a powerful figure who looked very little like his otherwise mousy self. With superhuman strength, a booming voice and a stunning mastery of medieval weaponry, he stopped a bank robbery on his lunch break, and was dismayed at 1 PM when he reverted to his true form as a weedy young historian.

So now he gets into position, knowing that he only has one hour a day to exhibit his magically-enhanced strength and attempt to right wrongs. (Or, at least, rearrange furniture in his loft, real quick.)

During his 'hour of power,' he calls himself the Hourman, not wanting anyone to know the mythological source of his strength, after first reading the papers calling him the 'man of the hour.' He also has another nickname, after his somewhat lustier-than-expected superhuman alterego was found canoodling with a damsel he had just rescued, Nooner.

She possesses limited magnetic abilities, primarily being able to repel incoming metallic projectiles, or draw metal items to her grasp from across the room.

While a sweet girl before, devoting her life to social work and charitable works, the magnetic fields of the Lodestone 'armor' have warped her brain, and made her erratic, violent and acquisitive. The truth behind her turn to villainy is more sinister indeed, as the spirit of an ancient malign entity has entered her from within the armor, where it lay dormant, and is now using her 'supervillain career' as cover to gather together magical relics and items of technology that will allow this ancient evil to re-awaken more of its former kind, and give them new bodies with which to once again walk the earth.

Abilities: drive men mad with her visage, appear and disappear mysteriously

The Phantom Lady appears to men who have been (or are in the process of being) abusive to women or children, appearing as if out of nowhere, clad in an elegant and baroque gown that appears more suitable for a Victorian setting than the modern day. A featureless white porcelian mask conceals her features, and she quickly removes it, showing her face to the offending male. Anyone else present sees nothing but white light, but the man she targets sees a visage of horror, and is filled with powerful emotion, sometimes terror, sometimes despair, sometimes even remorse. Truly wicked men may awaken with eyes gone white and sightless, or never awaken at all, dropped into a catatonic state, reliving old nightmares, for days, or even indefinitely...

Her 'justice' delivered, the Phantom Lady disappears as mysteriously as she came, although no one can be sure if she becomes invisible, is a ghostly apparition, a psychic manifestation, can teleport, or can walk through walls.

Duela Dent was a simple Australian high school student/cheerleader, until a mad Aborigine witch doctor attempted to destroy her high school during a football game, and Duela's quarterback boyfriend, Charley Parker, used her as a human shield from one of the mad doctor's blast. Ironically, it actually gave Duela a link to the Dreamtime, granting her all kinds of shapeshifting and illusion-casting abilities. The first of which she used to make her boyfriend think he had turned into an old woman for about three weeks. As Tuatara, she now faces off regularly against her arch foe, Doctor Moon, who wants the powers he accidentally gave her back.

Moon's motives are that his parents were trampled to death by football players when he was a child, and got raised by magical talking dingoes in the outback.

Abilities: extreme control over metal, Witch to a lesser degree over most other things. Scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most powerful, she's an 8.5, 9 with metal.

Silver Sorceress has no known name at this time, since the people that knew her true name all died in a fire that totally consumed the sanitarium she was born in. She was the daughter of the mad Sorceress Niteshade and an (unknown at the time) demon from the pit. The demon saw a chance to have an element of pure chaos and destruction on earth, and created a "home" in a remote cave in North Dakota's black hills. There, she learned the dark arts that came to her through her lineage. But, the dark influences were somewhat negated by ol' Ma Hunkle.

Ma was a barkeep in the little town of Good Mule by day, but by night she travelled the badlands after having met SS when SS was a child. Ma had sensed the use of dark magics, being a receptive, and sought to reverse the psychic damage the demon, Etrigan was doing to the child.

Thus, good and evil forever warred within Silver Sorceress. She had mercy and pity, but little understanding of the use of it. She might take pity on a childmolester and castrate him, or she might have mercy on a dying priest and end his life by cutting out his heart. She might teach a child to swim by transporting them to the amazon and placing them in croc infested waters. Her concepts of love and mercy are definitely on the perverse side.
