I realize that some members are getting the "Unable..." message, but I do not see or understand why. There's no reason for it. Grey even used this hack previously. All I did was switch it off months (a year or so?) ago. Then, people complained about the "Upload File Form" link still showing and I removed them. All I did recently was re-add the link and then turn it back on (increasing the limit to 25). Nothing I've done should have made a difference for Grey or anyone else.

So for now, I don't have an answer. I'll let everyone know if/when I ever figure it out.

The only thing that has changed in the time it has been turned off is the server. Could be something the new server doesn't like about some of the member files.

Hey Gary, I think I reached my max upload, but when I go to delete some files I can't get to the upload manager - the window says 'Bad Request' The Page Cannot Be Found. I'm wondering if this is like a logic error of some sort? I was able to view the upload manager until I think I reached my 15th file upload - after that I can't even reach the manager. Thanks...

Besides the error, the limit should be 25. I'll look into it.

Oops I think you're right, I've probably uploaded 25. I blame my irregular number of fingers and toes. Thanks!

Did I fix it?!? I can't tell. I'll try to upload 25 things to see.

I think I've fixed all of the bugs that Grey mentioned earlier too. Except the one about certain members not being able to upload.

Still have no clue about that one.

Well, it says "unable to determine status." Isn't status = Applicant, Legionnaire, Founder, Time Trapper, Advisor, etc?

Maybe it's a problem with a corrupted bit in the profiles rather than the hack.

PS - Looking at the UBBdev thread for the hack , no-one appears to have reported this error, but the screenshot nearish the bottom seems to support that thought...

I'm positive it's in the profiles. Otherwise, it would affect all of us. The problem is where?

I looked and compared and see no significant difference.

If I had a corrupted account, I'd make it identical (data such as name, e-mail etc.) to a non-corrupted account and see if I can then see the difference. But I don't have one and I don't want to mess with any of yours.

Reboot, if you get a chance, please try to upload again with either the Reboot or Somebody IDs.

I made a change to each ID, but I'm not sure if it fixed the problem or not.

I tried the upload link in the pictures of members thread but a box came up saying
"Unable to determine status. Please inform the board administrators about this error."
What does this mean please?

Basically, it means you have a problem similar to Reboot's and I (at this time) have no solution for it. Sorry.

I'll try to figure it out again this weekend.

I made changes to both these IDs based on a slight aberration between your member files and mine that work.

The only problem is the "Somebody" did not have the same aberration, so I still doubt I fixed the issue.
