Hi all Here, once again thanks to Nightcrawler, are scans of various stages in the creation of the cover to #17. Hope you enjoy them!  this was my initial thumbnail of the design  This was a version done in felt-tip as a guide for the final drawing  Here's the cover partially inked  And here's the final inked version Just click on the thumbnails to see larger versions!

Supergirl looks so wistful, like she feels out of place. Very nice atmosphere. No knock on Mark, but it's the art that has me excited for her appearance in LEGION.

Always nice to see upcoming covers. Now for a couple comments/questions: 1. Is that small pic in the upper left corner you? Why does it look iike he/you is sleeping? 2. I tried clicking on my thumbnail. All I got was a (very) sore thumb. Guess my thumbnail is very lazy.

Gorgeous as always. I don't recall who is taking over for Turner (?) on Supergirl but I'd love to continue seeing Barry draw Kara after her Legion stint.

I love the large difference in the original sketch, and the final version, but how you can still see they are versions of the same piece. A very clear through-line of vision.
And Barry, I've mocked Supergirl's new costume, but somehow, you make it work, and not seem entirely silly.

I was going to post this as a seperate topic, but didn't see the reason for it. Anyway, can someone please explain this whole "Supergirl issue". Is this Kara, the one scheduled to appear in LSH issue # 17, the same one that died in crisis...being that everyone seems to be "coming back" in some form or another? I didn't read DC's arc that covered her return and the battle between her and that "other Supergirl" who was with the Titans breifly. It seems like all of the other LSH fans are very excited to see her "return" to this book. Is because there is once again a Supergirl in these pages after so many years, or is it because "our Kara" is coming back?!? HELP!!!!!!!! I'm very confused.
