Legion World Forums LEGION OUTPOST Mission Monitor Board Today I (verb)...Round Three

Hung the sign for the new business. Finished the siding on the left side of the house. Ate lunch with my wife. Picked up salvage chairs for the house and took them to the house. Went to florence and picked up chairs for the office and some tools I need to build our dining room table. Took chairs to the office. Went to current house to get keys. Took several items to the new house again. Took birthday presents to my mom's house. Finally got home and ate supper at around 9pm.

Whew.

... commended rickshaw for being so productive

...had major car trouble.

...am having one of those weeks.

... made plans to leave the office late

...had a loooooooong day at work.

...think my third day of vacation went way too fast.

...am going to watch a little debate....

... felt harassed by noon time

...think Ibby should file a complaint against noon time.

... saw a wild rabbit and a housecat in the middle of my street just sniffing each other.

As my car rounded the corner, they each took off to opposite sides of the road. It's cool... I wanted to call out... I've got an open mind.

...wondered at the level of intelligence of some of my co-workers.

...took Jon to his last soccer game for this round. 50's and raining.

... started hanging up Christmas decorations (Halloween isn't big over here)

...bought a blu-ray player 'cause my DVD/VHS player stopped playing. I put in the new Star Trek movie to test it and, whaddaya know, we're now exploring strange new worlds....

...had a 13 hour work day and feel as though I could pass out. XD The dead are a demanding bunch.

...helped with a b-day party for my wifes 90 year Grandma.

... smelled something weird around my work area, but couldn't trace what it was

...crossed the border to mail my absentee ballot and run a few errands. While i stopped for lunch at a diner nect to the border, there was a shooting on the Canadian side! I-5 ramp was closed, cops zooming up, copters circling overhead. I didn't find out what happened until a bit later. A Canadian border offical was shot, but she has thus far srvived. Not so the shooter, apparently, whether by his hand or by that of another border agent.

.. survived yet another earthquake. At 7:13 there was a 4.6 magnitude earthquake at Lake Arrowhead Maine. It shook my house for about 3 seconds.

Gosh! I've only been through 2 or 3 earthquakes myself that were that bad.

... I had a boring day; the most unusual part of it was me eating oatmeal with mixed fruit and honey.

Isn't Lake Arrowhead the setting for S.King's "The Mist"?

... am hopefully not jinxing myself by saying I'm having a very quiet night at work (only 3 calls and all were routine)

... broke my diet by eating some pasta... but at least I said no to the pizza.

... am reflecting on the number "10".
