Hey, it ain't no big thing. We'll get a lawn chair, a couple of solar panels that can link, a battery, a small electric motor, and we'll McGuyver a damn chair that'll run 0 to 45 in 3.2 seconds, clear stairs, and make love to their mama's.

I was just thinking I need a stool that I could kneel on to keep the weight off my foot...but that would work too.

Yeah, Ricks idea sounds like WAY more fun than a stool

Got parbroiled in the sun today.

...found out there was not quite enough damage to total the car...but very close. The insurance company is also replacing Jon's booster seat because his last one literally got wedged between the passenger front seat and the back seat.

Guess the guy hot me a bit harder than I thought...guess I really was in shock, or do have a slight concussion.

... walked to the store, got a basket (the hand held one, not the cat) full of groceries, went to the checkout, aaaannnnddddd found out I had not brought my wallet and therefore did not have my debit card with me. I had some money on me, but had to put back most of the stuff. And yes Lardy, I restocked properly. Luckiky I didn't really need what I put back.

...shredded a bunch of old legal papers for mr_cleome and one of his buddies in an adjoining office. Then did the laundry.

Thinks "Luckiky" would be a great name for a Legionnaire.

watched the city's Victoria Day weekend fireworks display from my kitchen window.

...spent only a little bit at Costco.

...have a sore throat; hopefully it's not the onset of something worse. OTOH, at least I have a good excuse now to spend all day tomorrow inside, reading classic Defenders comics and listening to weird 70s music.

...have a furnace that is not responding to the thermostat controls. No air, or heat for that matter. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!1
