...now have three different people working on a project for me. Odd thing finding myself as a group leader, and still learning the processes of the shop/

...was trolling Craigslist in search of a used iPod. Left some messages for three that are in my price range and compatible with my Mac Dodge Dart. So far, no responses.

...outlined a long-delayed fanfic project.

...had a seafood dinner with friends.

...am getting my taxes done. C'mon... big big bucks, no whammies!

...walking in mud, mud mud everywhere.

...am royally pissed off at my medical provider(s). (So what else is new?)

...applied for a job.

...wondering where Quislet, Esq got his name.

...bought a box of comics from someone I work with...it included Jonah Hex (the old 70's/80's series) 1 - 92 (plus a bunch of doubles), only missing issues 5, 6, 43 and 80.

Awesome find, Dev. Those Fleischer stories are classic. The series has some beautiful covers, as well.

...am in possession of a used iPod (blue) and wondering if this means I've finally joined the 21st Century like everyone else...

...had a garage sale. I took out an ad in the local paper for $30 and would have been satisfied to make that back and lighten the load a bit. Ended up bringing in $280. Woo. Whoo!

...worked 8 hours. Had dinner with my parents, and we finished watching a movie that my mom and I started watching around 30 years ago.

That's a slow-moving movie!

...made lentil stew.

...took Hyvvie to the doggie salon. When I picked him up his coat was all fluffy!

Heh. No. It is a movie called Abandon Ship . The story is this...back when I was a lot younger (seriously about 30 or so years ago) we were on vacation at my Grandparents up in Ludington Michigan. We started watching this movie on some television station that they happened to get. We were about halfway through it, and they started making the difficult choices that people have to make in a situation like this (overloaded small boat in the middle of the ocean with no hope of rescue that they know of.) My Grandfather calls and says that his car broke down...so we begrudgingly turn the movie off and go get him (he had been bar hopping and did something stupid to his car.)

We never found out what happened to Tyrone Power and the rest of the survivors...or even everyone they cut loose.

Looked for it for thirty years to no avail (except for Ebay auctions that I wasn't going to cough up that much money for.) Finally...I'm flipping through my On Demand free movies, and there it is. So we finally got to see the ending...thirty years later.

...thought I'd like to see a shooting star, looked up and there was a shooting star.

...started driving to work and realized I had forgotten my security passcard... so I drove back home, got it, and started driving to work again... then realized I had also forgotten my laptop... so I drove back home, got it, got back to my car and realized I had locked my keys inside my running car... so I went back in, manically searching for my spare set, finally found them and started driving back to work... and then hit construction.

Today I also... was late for work.

...saw Chronicle. It was very intense and very well-done.

... am going to Disney World

...had a blast singing with some preschoolers.

Also, enjoyed some delicious red velvet cake.
