Yeah, I just found out that a colleague of mine in Tennessee is in a similar boat. Luckily most of his property is OK but they are over a week without power and water and their Fire Department doesn't exist anymore.

I lost power for six days, but beyond that and a bit of inconvenience, no real problem. Seeing the toll it has taken on others and all of the crazy misinformation has been really disheartening, however.

Just to be clear, what I meant to say in my post above was, "Don't let the misinformation get you down." I would be mortified if anyone thought I was saying the same thing about the terrible human toll that EDE mentioned.
