In the Autumn up here, usually mid-October, all the bees get kind of kooky. They become like fat & drunk and stumble around, goofing off. I have no idea what it's called or why.
It actually makes me very nervous!

one of those stumbling bees wandered into my way this morning as I cycled to main campus. It bounced off my cheek like a pebble. Guess it was too surprised to sting me.

I haven't seen any stumble/bumble bees but I never see wasps here either really... it would make me nervous too Cobie!
It was like it should have already died by now and had lived way past when it was supposed to and is now kind of nuts...

The mornings are delightfully cold so I don't want to get out of bed, since Pickles cuddles up against me under the covers.
And the afternoons are nice and warm!

It has cooled off here quite a bit.
Last night while at work the temperture went down to 4C.
Days are cooler too, only geting to between 15 to 20C

Almost the entire month of August, we experienced high temperatures over 100F/38C.
