There is a graveyard on the Boston Common. I was walking through it today. Most of the gravestones were dated from the late 1700s and ealy 1800s, but there was one marker that was dated 1957. One gravestone was for a young man of 24 who died by drowning. A lot had "Mrs. Sarah Doe wife of John Doe", but one read "Mrs. Mary Smith consort of Mr. John Smith"

If my great-grandmother were still living, she would have become the world's oldest person this week at age 115. She passed away in 1976 at age 79.
