If I see footage of early 70s rock concerts with the volume turned down, I can't tell the difference between John Fogerty, Steve Miller, and David Gates of Bread.

I saw Crazy, Stupid, Love on DVD over the weekend. Normally I dislike romcoms, but this one was kind of sweet. And it had lots of shirtless Ryan "Photoshopped" Gosling.

My all-time favorite comic character of any kind is Charlie Brown. Coincidentally, three of my favorite Legionnaires also have the initials "CB".

Two dive sites in the Philippines made CNN's list of Top 100 dive sites. Sadly, I have been to neither of them.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

When I was 5, my brother (12) and his friends would watch the show "Dark Shadows". I would watch with them, but every so often, I would get a sudden urge and have to immediately go into the kitchen to make sure my mother didn't need me for something.

I recently read that Jonathan Frid, who played the vampire Barnabas Collins on the show, passed away. I am currently watching some of those Dark Shadows episodes. Hopefully I won't get any sudden urges to go to the kitchen.
