Sometimes when an old thread gets bumped, I think of something to add to it. But then looking back, I find I made the same comment originally.

If the Easter Bunny visits on Easter, does the Dust Bunny visit on Ash Wednesday?

Judging from its original meaning, I think a visit from Lard Lad would be more appropriate.

I've always felt this was one of my most clever toilet-humor jokes:

One of Peter David's daughters went to drama camp with Natalie Portman. They did not get along.

One film critic called John Hughes' writing "a bad combination of National Lampoon and Norman Rockwell."

Last Leap Day, I was in Newfoundland for most of the day, but flew to the French island of St.-Pierre later in the day.

Punctuation prevents cannibalism! Plastic-lettered lightbox sign on a local restaurant: "LIFE IS BEST WHEN WE EAT PAVAROTTI" Oh, what a difference a dash, or even a period, would have made.

I bought a cart for work. Will throw my portable tool box on it with the tools I need for testing. Plus a surge protector strip and some bins to use to hold random things I need. Will also have my portable 120 VAC/ 24 VDC power supply on there.

I do a lot of testing of panels and control boxes before they are sent to the customer. I spend 56 hours a week doing this and needed something to halp me move my stuff around the shop...besides the old and not rolling friendly toolbox I have there. Carrying everything was getting really old.

Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Looking forward to having new eyeglasses ready in the next week or so. The current pair is so damn shot that I've barely been able to see out of them for the last six months, at least.

I had to do this while I'm still employed, and I expect that to last for maybe another two weeks, tops.

For my next trick, I've decided to buy myself a haircut next weekend! Since my bangs grew completely out back in late October, this should take care of any lingering eyesight issues not fixed by the new eyeglasses. nod

I'm nearing the end of my first night of training "on the board" at work.

Over the next few months I will be moving from being an outside worker, fixing things when they go wrong to an inside worker, watching screens to find problems and adjust processes BEFORE they become an issue.

The French song "Alouette" is someone who wants the pluck feathers off a bird.

"Alouette" is sung by the two rival French chefs in the excellent Bugs Bunny cartoon short, "French Rarebit", written by the always-underrated Tedd Pierce.
