I just realized, after three and a half months of working on a dock, that I'm a dockworker!

Yes, I move big heavy things into and out of dark places all night long. And no, that's not any sort of entendre.

Something else else called the Chinook Winds (not to be confused with the casino by the same name ) blew into our area of the world last night. Within ten minutes, the evening temperatures shot from about 44 F to 54 F, which is where they still are, mostly.

It's also still rainy, of course.

ours are called the Santa Ana winds. (it was about 60 last week)

it will be 85 degrees fahrenheit tomorrow.

however at my mother's home where we celebrate christmas, the high on the 25th will be about 52 degrees F. cold.

Walking home from the store, little flakes of snow were fluttering down. Just a couple here and there. Now 3 hours later, the streets and sidewalks are still snow-free.

My ex-HM has me on her LJ Friends page. Nearly everything she writes makes me want to reach through my computer and shake her, which makes me feel guilty because she's not a bad person. Just... really really damn irritating.

I never comment on her stuff, because the temptation to say exactly what I think in print for all her other Friends to see is just too strong.

....... drove to mall for christmas shopping, could not find parking, waited for an hour (in car queing) to escape the parking lot. never stepped foot in a store or outside of car.

Why do I keep seeing episodes I've already seen of "Criminal Minds" over and over on Ion when I've probably seen less than 10% of the series run altogether?!?!
