I played Zachary Zatara in a M&M game, and it was great fun to improvise the backwards-speak spells. Zatara "Snug ot gniddup!" Kid Devil "Guns to pudding, really?" Zatara "I skipped lunch. Shut up." Zatara "Serblam, uh, screw it! Htolc ot leets!" <speedsters clothes turn hard like steel, he tumbles out of control> Kid Devil "Was 'screw it' part of spell?" Zatara "You try saying 'marbles everywhere' while being punched in the face!" Zatara "Roodpart raeppa!" <trapdoor appears, crooks falls into it> Zatara "Roodpart hsinav!" <to teammate> "Heh, that's my favorite part." <trapdoor vanishes, leaving a smooth floor> Duela "Where does he go?" Zatara "I dunno. Downstairs?" Duela "We're on a submarine..." <pause> Zatara "Oh. Sucks to be him, I guess."

I went to a small office party w/mr_cleome yesterday. At one point, there were six of us Geminis clustered together in one corner of the room, throwing the balance of the universe entirely out of whack.

NBC canceled Heroes finally. And honestly, the show has sucked since Season 2 began so I can't say I'm too upset about it.
It had basically become everything bad in the comic book industry. I have friends who don't read comics that were expressing their frustrations (for example, all the characters ever do is move around without doing anything), and I was like 'yeah, welcome to the world of a comic book reader'.

I watch them on DVD as a full season. The show is frustrating enough that I think I'd shoot myself if I had to watch it weekly.
