Bull, I never expected you to go out with your butt hanging out. Normally, people put the chaps and vest over a pair of jeans an a denim shirt. Egads, I guess you have to lay it all out (so to speak) when you're dealing with a Texan.

I was wondering the same thing. Who sets the rules around here anyways. I mean that kind of attire is not inappropriate at SHAKES (hell, it's actually quite common), but at the Beacon. Call me old fashioned.

Just here, tuning up some problems. Looks like two of the floating shell-tables on level four bumped the other night. The lobster bisque went everywhere.

We're thinking of getting permission to induce artificial eruptions at Mount Eruptus, for the pleasure of our diners.

Lastly, we've installed floating Palms and torches next to each table for added initmacy.

Hope the Beacon's guests will appreciate these extra touches.

Much appreciated! With everyone pitching in, this place has really turned into quite the establishment! Nice work Semi wink

Thanks Cobie. But we need to drum up more business. Maybe you could be our poster boy.

Being a poster boy requires having an actual image of yourself available.

It might be on the way...a combined picture of me and Pov could be in the works...

I'll have to warn everyone though: I'm even more good looking in real life than I pretend to be on line wink

Now, Cobie... just because those cows and ewes were all aflutter doesn't mean the LW regulars will necessarily be swooning over your photos. wink

There is no real cheerleader outfit, although rumor is that Pov really has a gorilla suit!

Well no cheerleaders then. Dinner attire. After all, it's going to be a picture of you and your date enjoying an intimate meal at the Beacon. Who will be your date in the picture? This needs to be carefully planned. It should be an equally famous Legion Worlder. Any suggestions.

Hm, the most famous of all Legion Worlders (even more than me!) is Princess Crujectra. There is no one with more class and style, so she might be the ideal candidate. And besides we've been very close in the past wink

Other famous and beautiful candidates are Harbinger, Fat Cramer, Arachne, Saturn Girl, Kara, Mantis and the Emerald Empress.

I must admit that the Princess was the first one that came to mind. (1) Do you think that, being royalty, she'd consent to being in an ad campaign, and (2) could you arrange your busy schedules to get together for the photo shoot?

I'm sure Cru would love a chance to help out local Legion World businesses.

Wasn't able to get to the Beacon last night. Anybody have a particulary spectacular meal that they'd like to comment on?

I had the Chicken Danielle, although I'm a bit unsure of what was in it. Prosciuto ham wrapped around the chicken in some very good sauce...anyone ever have it?

Maybe I'll try the Chicken Danielle next time. I had the Creole Potatoes, Broiled Scallops with Apples and a mango sorbet.

Both the chicken danielle and the broiled scallops with creole potatoes sound wonderful. Any suggestions on how we can improve the dining experience?

Do people know the food is free? That Cobalt Kid dines here on a regular basis, sometimes accompanied by the charming Princess Cru? That should enhance the dining experience.

You might want to mention that we have civet cat on special all week. Then again, maybe just call it "wild game". confused

(Final note: we'll be hosting a special birthday dinner for Varalent tomorrow night, if he's up for it. Otherwise, it can be postponed til he feels better.)
